GRAHAM BRADY RESPONDS TO LIFEBOAT SOS
Altrincham and Sale West MP Graham Brady responded to an SOS from the RNLI in Altrincham at the weekend.
The lifeboat organisation, which has saved around 140,000 lives since it was founded, was raising funds to continue its good work. It held an event at the Sea Cadet Unit based in Halfords car park in Altrincham. Members of the community were invited to come along to the event, which was supported by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
The occasion featured some water-based activities for both adults and children.
The RNLI is a registered charity that has saved over 139,000 lives at sea since it was founded in 1824. By raising funds on SOS day the RNLI will be able to ensure that volunteer crew members and lifeguards can continue to provide their lifesaving service.
